Non-allergic rhinitis is a type of rhinitis (pronounced rine-ite-iss). Rhinitis means ‘inflammation of the nose’ and in non-allergic rhinitis this irritation is not caused by allergy, infection, lesions, polyps or any other illness.1,2
Many people don’t realise they have non-allergic rhinitis. It is often overlooked because the symptoms can feel like hayfever (allergic rhinitis).
